REALTORS sponsor Core Health Insurance

9/21/2009 The National Association of Realtors® is helping to make limited benefit medical insurance available for Realtors®, who may not have access to guaranteed issue affordable health insurance. Realtors® now have access to REALTORS® Core Health Insurance an affordable, guaranteed-issue, option for coverage through a new REALTOR Benefits® partner program. The program is underwritten by United States Fire Insurance Company, rated A (“Excellent”) by A.M. Best company, and includes limited indemnity benefits such as doctor’s office visits, hospitalization, surgery, emergency room, accident medical, and a prescription discount card. In many states network discounts are available through a PPO option, providing additional savings to members. Realtors® can enroll online at any time with coverage effective on the next day.

Decreasing deductible option available through UnitedHealthcare

9/18/2009 UnitedHealthcare announces enhancements to its individual medical insurance plan including a decreasing deductible feature that reduces out-of-pocket risk for long term policyholders. Details and pricing will be available online by early October.
