1/7/2009 Basic Health Inurance issued by Markel Insurance Company led all other online health insurance enrollments here for the first week of 2010. This is the first time this occurred in Freedom Benefits' history and may be viewed as a negative indicator of consumers' ability or willingness to pay for health insurance. Basic Health Insurance privides a much lower level of coverage than traditional major medical insurance.
