This list of managed care health plans not offered on the HHS national insurance clearinghouse was compiled by U.S. News and World Report and reproduced here with the intention of supplementing the affordable health insurance plans that are listed on the various exchanges. Since Freedom Benefits does not review, rate or recommend managed care plans, we use third party reports like this for all of our publications. U.S. News and World Report does not rate traditional commercial indemnity health insurance plans, consumer-driven, defined benefit, mini-med or supplemental health insurance. Since several of these have run into regulatory problems due to consumer complaints and have been withdrawn since the date of the U.S. News publication, check with the state insurance department or exchange page for the most recent information.
