Online vs. paper enrollment

updated June 28, 2011

Our guest asks:

I have an employee interested in Celtic Insurance for his daughter turning 26 who is a full time medical student in Michigan. Can you please email the application? He is a doctor himself & think it may be confusing for him to apply online.

OnlineAdviser responds:

The regular application can be downloaded from http://celticenrollment.com/IM/Celtic-Insurance-application-in-Michigan.pdf but I encourage you to use the online enrollment link. Online enrollment is the norm for all health insurance plans today and even doctors manage to handle the process! Online enrollment is more accurate, faster, and more secure. Best of all, you get immediate and ongoing notice of status and other important information by email.

Keep in mind that the daughter should complete the enrollment herself rather than her father in order to make it a legal contract. We are aware that parents take an active role in this process.
