I regret that we hear this complaint far too often lately. Please see the editorial "Scam Report For Online Health Insurance and be aware that fair and reliable online support is available for all of the health plans in your state through navigators and reputable enrollment agents. Complete plan information is provided by reputable firms that includes a description of the benefits and provisions as well as the exclusions and limitations.

The best advice we can provide is to avoid incoming telephone sales calls. These are almost always made by agents who only get paid if they make a sale and therefore have incentive to tell you "what you want to hear" in order to enroll. It can be nearly impossible to make a reasonable decision about a complex financial product based on a verbal explanation. Get it in writng and make sure that it makes complete sense to you before enrolling.
