I received quotes for something called Core Health Insurance that seemed too good to be true so I thought I should make sure to be on the safe side. I was told you had some type of discount going on where for $150.80 I could get 10 free doctor visits with in network, RX coverage, Medical/surgical/and hospitalization with no deductible. there is no contract. If you can tell me if this is something that exist in your company I would greatly appreciate it.
OnlineAdviser responds:Core Health Insurance is a reputable limited benefit insurance plan insured by United States Fire Insurance Company. However,we do receive consumer complaints and have concerns over some independent agents' telephone sales practices with this product. It is important to rely only on published information and to enroll only on the secure online Web site at www.corehealthinsurance.net.
The doctor visits and other benefits you mention are included in this insurance; each subject to its own maximum benefit limits. Prescription drug are not covered by the insurance but a prescription drug discount card is included. It is important that you understand the dollar limitations of benefits available in this type of insurance. The maximum benefits available are listed on the benefits schedule presented with your quotation. The plan is offered at four different levels of benefits; the higher the benenfits, the higher the price. The lower benefit levels are very affordable.
