Where can I see a comparison of the details of Core Health Insurance plans?
OnlineAdviser responds:Please see the chart included in the article at http://freedombenefits.net/affordable-health-insurance/Core-Health-Insurance.html for details on the four benefit levels that collectively make up the most popular brand of limited benefit insurance plans on the exchange. Scroll about 1/3 of the way through the article to find the summary chart. The rest of the article contains much more detail of almost every imaginable aspect of the plans. Still, if you don't find what you're looking for please ask.
The chart should make it clear one of the lower level plans like the "Value Plan" and "Silver Plan" can fit into almost anyone's budget and that "you get what you pay for" in higher level benefits of the "Gold Plan" and the "Platinum Plan". The chart also does a great job in debunking the myth that you can buy high level insurance benefits without spending much money. It is a great educational tool, in our opinion, on the economic realities of health insurance benefits vs. premiums. Of course, since the pricing varies depending on personal factors (sex, age and location) the premium costs are listed separately on the quoting tool.
The link to the surgical benefit schedule was updated and can now also be accessed from the summary of benefits chart.
