Contact information for COBRA plan
A member asks:
I wanted to check if our COBRA coverage has begun. We
sent in the paperwork about 2 weeks ago. Is there a way I can find out if the paperwork has gone through?
OnlineAdviser responds:
When health insurance coverage changes from group insurance to a COBRA plan, the member services contact information remains the same. The health plan administrator would have the status information on your policy. This would be the same office as you might have used in the past to access benefit information. The contact phone number for the member services department is usually printed on your insurance ID card and other insurance documentation, including the COBRA election paperwork.
