Celtic Saver Health Savings Account in Florida

Our guest asks:

I am a little confused! I live in Florida and recently I was offered the Celtic Saver HSA plan although it appears that it is not available in Florida. Can you please clarify for me; maybe it is nothing more than a typo.

OnlineAdviser responds:

Yes, Celtic Saver HSA insurance plan you mentioned is available in Florida. These health plan titles and state availability details tend to change over time whereas published published materials may be dated. This seems to be the case with the publication you saw. Celtic Insurance’s online pricing service includes a complete up-to-date listing of plans available in each zip code.

The burden of compliance with state insurance regulation with regard to plan availability is on the insurance company, not on the consumer. A consumer may enroll in any insurance plan offered though any source and be assured that the provisions of the offer of coverage and the contract itself are valid.
